BIP O-Twist-Marker SRX Marking Clip

The implantable clip is intended for marking of soft tissue for monitoring of lesions after biopsies, before or during chemotherapy and in radiotherapy treatment planning.
It is intended for single-use and for long-term application.
Compatible with BARD^® EnCor Enspire^TM vacuum biopsy system.
Indications are anomalies in breast tissue including axillary lymph nodes.

The BIP O-Twist-Marker SRX consists of two components – an applicator and a marking clip that lies in stretched form in the distal end of the application cannula.
The clip is made of braided Nitinol (nickel-titanium shape memory wire) and forms a ring when placed in tissue.
The ergonomic applicator is made of plastic and has a cannula made of medical grade stainless steel, with sharp tip and centimeter depth marks for direct visual assessment of insertion depth. The handle is secured against unintentional actuation by a release protector.
The application cannula is provided with a radius at the distal end and the length is adopted for use in combination with BARD^® EnCor Enspire^TM vacuum biopsy system.
