The BIP Mam-O-Guide® consists of two components – an application cannula and a localization wire with anchoring element that lies in stretched form in the distal end of the application cannula.
The localization wire is made of twisted Nitinol (nickel-titanium shape memory wire). The distal end of the BIP Mam-O-Guide® forms a ring-shaped anchoring element while applicated.
The application cannula made of medical grade stainless steel has a sharp tip, centimeter depth marks for direct visual assessment of insertion depth and a small handle.
The BIP Mam-O-Guide® is available in different lengths.
