Next Generation: Sterile biopsy device for histological soft tissue biopsy
Improved tissue results:
A powerful spring driven energy storage system provides best biopsy results, so far only known from non disposable devices. The possibility of performing a semi automatic biopsy even increases tissue amount in certain applications significantly. Due to changeable penetration dephts (18/25mm), HistoCore is optimally adjustable for different biopsy applications.
Reduced trauma:
The shorter needle tip creates less trauma of tissue behind the lesion. Due to very small tolerances inmanufacturing, the area between notch and tip is minimized.
Save usage:
The status of the device (cocked, semi cocked or uncocked) is shown on the status indicator. Integrated trigger protection prevents from accidently firing the device.
Coaxial cannula:
An optional coaxial cannula is pre-mounted on the HistoCore needle. The new Single Handed Coax Release improves the ease of use.
Several sizes of needles assure the usability of the instrument on any soft tissue biopsy application.
